IPG Energy ranked #2 in EnviroTech50

IPG Energy has been ranked #2 in Business Cloud’s EnviroTech 50, an annual list that recognises UK’s most innovative green technology creators.

We’re excited to announce that we have been ranked second most innovative climate technology company in the UK in Business Cloud’s 2023 EnviroTech 50 list. We are amongst leading businesses, SME's, scale-ups, and public sector organisations, including Octopus Energy, Emsol and Recycleye, all tackling some of the biggest sustainability challenges.

Following the creation of a 107-strong shortlist, the final ranking was decided by a combination of selections from an independent judging panel and a public vote among readers of BusinessCloud which attracted hundreds of votes. The judging panel consisted on industry experts from techUK, Digital Catapult, GFA Exchange, as well the editor of BusinessCloud.

“Our EnviroTech 50 ranking showcases a wide range of technologies for green energy, protecting the environment and boosting sustainability," said Jonathan Symcox, Editor of BusinessCloud.

"Having covered difficult-to-decarbonise industries over the years - ones heavily reliant upon diesel generators - I was fascinated to read about how IPG is taking a practical approach with its fuel-agnostic energy generators. Technologies such as this will be crucial to achieving a Net Zero future."

IPG Energy is working with the construction industry to demonstrate that our clean, fuel-agnostic renewable generator is the solution for accelerating the transition to green fuels in hard-to-abate sectors.

“Following last week’s recognition as the Most Sustainable Exhibitor at UK Construction Week, placing second in the Envirotech 50 list further demonstrates the role our product of both the construction industry, as well as other sectors where replacing diesel generators poses an equally significant challenge, such as the marine, mining and microgrid industries.

“Congratulations to our team, investors and partners behind IPG Energy. This is a proud moment on our journey to replacing the diesel generator”, said Toby Gill, CEO of IPG Energy.
