Lauren Franklin, IPG Energy, Chief of Staff, has been shortlisted for the Business Green Women in Green Business Awards for ‘Clean Technology Innovator of the year 2024’.

We are delighted to announce that Lauren Franklin, our Chief of Staff at IPG Energy, has been shortlisted for the Business Green Women in Green Business Awards for the ‘Clean Technology Innovator of the Year 2024’. This prestigious nomination is a testament to Lauren's contributions to our company and the broader green economy. 


About the Award 

The Business Green Women in Green Business Awards honour the women and companies leading the way in sustainability and green technology. With over 420 individuals and 80 innovative companies nominated, including; Laing O’Rourke, Balfour Beatty, Barratt Developments PLC, UK Infrastructure Bank, Network Rail, Northern Powergrid, Hitachi Energy and Vattenfall, these nominations have been shortlisted across the awards categories and celebrate those individuals working to make the UK’s green economy more diverse, inclusive, and sustainable. 

 

Key Achievements Under Lauren’s Leadership 

Under Lauren’s leadership, she has led and delivered amongst other achievements; a comprehensive campaign to translate our technology into a highly-anticipated product and position fuel-agnostic power as a credible solution, significantly enhancing our industry presence and opening doors for thought leadership opportunities. Secured crucial strategic partnerships and investments including a successful £1 million crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, which set a benchmark for other climate tech start ups. And played a pivotal role in expanding our team by 40% as well as fostering a culture of transparency and innovation. Her leadership as Chief of Staff has prepared us for substantial growth in the coming years.
